"Story: With the completion of the US/Mexican border fence and loosing drug restrictions in the US, the import of drugs from the Southern border saw a drastic decline. Seeking a new revenue source, the Salazar Cartel began using a vast underground tunnel system to smuggle in some of America's most feared enemies, from dangerous psychopaths to fanatical terrorists. Led by the family's head, Fidel Salazar, the group bolstered its numbers with new recruits and armed them with an array of black market weapons, effectively becoming a standing army ready to die in defense of their trade.
It did not take long for the US Government to learn of this growing threat. Unable to march troops across the Mexican border, the President strengthen the Border Patrol with more manpower, weapons, and technology but he knew that it wasn’t enough. He would have to bring in outside help to wage a shadow war
They gave the job to former DEA Agent Dane Jackson. Jackson spent over 30 years building up an important network of contacts that helped him bust drug runners along the Southern Border. Relying on a small handful of troops and his knowledge of the land, Jackson raided several “shipping” routes and seized any weapons and funds he could. They became known as “Jackson's Raiders” and word quickly spread to the Salazar's of this opposition. A substantial bounty was placed on any member of Jackson's “Raiders” but they had grown too large to ignore. Using contacts within the Border Patrol and DEA, Jackson began recruiting for an all out offensive against the Cartel. Facing potential backlash from clients and its growing need for funding, the Salazar Cartel officially declared war on this newfound enemy, gaining support from terrorist groups in every part of the world.
The hand has been dealt and soon it will mean bloodshed along the Southern Border. Will the Cartel continue to smuggle in drugs, weapons, and the worst of America’s enemies? Or will the Border Patrol and Jackson’s Raiders put an end to the Cartels? Only you can determine the outcome!"

Returning once again and leading the Cartel will be Paul "Major Malfunction" Burke from the Southwest Regulators:
Mage is the Commander of the SouthWest Regulators. The Regs are a MilSim team that began in 2004. We have participated in over 25 scenario events, plus boast several awards to our name. What sets them apart from most teams is that they work hard at getting all players involved as an organized body, the Regs are force multipliers. To date, Mage has Generaled 6 games and love it as much as taking point, getting head shots or barrel tagging. He enjoys it because troops respond to his leadership style and get more into the game. Troop moral, timing, strategy and resource allocation, these challenges take the sport to a whole other level of fun for him. He does play to win but believes it is more important to ensure that every one enjoys the event. He believes if every one under his command felt important, laughed and is sore as all get out ... then He did a good job for them
Leading the US Border Patrol and making the long trek from Utah will be Jared Bronson, team captain of Bad Karma:
Jared Bronson is the Team Commander for the Bad Karma Paintball Team, one of the most successful scenario paintball teams today. He started playing paintball in 1988 with a team called Shadow Company north of Salt Lake City. In 1991, Bronson joined the U.S. Army, where he spent time in the 2nd Ranger Battalion and the 3/9 Infantry as a Scout Sniper.
After his Army career, Jared took up paintball again, forming Bad Karma with friends in 2007. The team is now in its 6th season. During that time, Jared made a name for himself and his team quickly in events like Special Ops Paintball's Elite Weekend. Because of his background and skill at commanding, he has been tapped to general many scenarios, such as Casa Grande II, Hell's Assault, Aliens in the Rockies, Battlefield Utah and Living Legends IV. He has also been a field commander for two previous Living Legends events. His approach to generaling, win or lose, is to give players the best experience possible and to unite players to accomplish memorable goals.
