Is it possible to put a X7 flatline barrel on a 98?

I just looked at ansgear.com and the video said yes you can. Link bellow:

the 98 has different threads than the X7. Will not work.

No, you can't. In that video they say nothing about using the X7 flatline on the 98, in fact they say nothing at all about using flatlines meant for other guns on different guns. He simply talks about the barrel, and shows the different versions available.
The X7 has a barrel adapter that fits in the front of the gun, which is what normal barrels screw into. The X7 flatline has the flatline directly attached to its own adapter. The 98 has threads in the front, so the 98 flatline has threads that you have to screw in, then align the flatline.

They have different barrel threads.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Yes, with extensive modifications that is nowhere near worth the time or effort.
