I've got two roles.

The silly hat wearing jester, who is there to show new players the ropes and help them have fun,

or when I am in MILSIM format, the "army cosplayer" as it was so defined, that is just there to have a good time!

I came back into the sport just this last weekend, and while I was competitive vs. people that played. I was more there to have fun and enjoy the time while I was playing with new players. More of having fun, being goofy, and letting them look at me while I'm wearing all of this "speedball" gear and their wearing jeans, then they look at me like I am a power ranger ;)

I mainly play to have fun, whether I'm more in a mood for power-ranger speedball or army "cosplay" woodsball, I'm just trying to have fun. If an opportunity to help out a newer player presents itself, I'll take it; but that's not the primary objective.

I am sort of a mixture of both, I'm a "get shit done" guy but appreciate new players beginning to play and try to make them better players to the best of my abilities. But yeah I do have a sense of humor some days and go just for the shits and giggles. 😁

Just for fun. Although lately I've been doing quite a bit of educating the new players. I even let a kid use my 2k2 Timmy for a game while I fixed his G4 (such a tiny little gun).
