I find when people barrel mount a camera on the gun, the paintballs constantly rolling in the hopper make a lot unnecessary noise

Depends. As long as hoppers dont get in the way of the goggle cam then cool. If the barrel cam isnt mostly ground footage then it's good. Either as long as they're done right.

As long as the gun is pointing in the general direction that the user is moving, barrel cam and goggle cam are equally cool.

I'm working on getting a camera myself. I've been debating a barrel mount, but I think people would get motion sick if I put the camera on my pistol

Using a gun that's been hardly maintained and tossed from person to person more than a village whore is hardly a fair way to compare the marker.

As a player who likes beanies/headwraps, It's really hard to mount a gopro while wearing one. so I normally just stick it on the barrel

Protip. Buy a shovel. Dig and Pile REPEAT until desired effect is achieved. Builds upper body and character. Bitches love upper body and character.

Barrel videos are way better to watch. Half the time with mask mounts you can't see anything past the hopper. I like seeing exactly what is being shot at, and you can actually follow the individual balls so you can see all the hits.

I think it all depends on where it's mounted, how big it the camera, and what you are really trying to shoot.
