So i recently broke the ribbon eyes on my PM8 should I replace them with wired laser eyes or just get the stock ribbon eyes?

Look at a medium repair kit. They have extra eyes.

one thing to check before you make the switch.
make sure you board will actually accept the wired eyes. Sometimes, PM ultralight boards only accept ribbon eyes.

my board accepts the wired eyes i just heard its just hard to install and they get in the way

Just stay with the ribbon. There's no performance gains. People want wire because it lasts longer. Virtue sells them. Other places sell them but usually don't list them on their site. You have to call.

The ribbon eyes are incredibly unreliable. They are also very fragile and always in the way when you open the grip for any reason.

Get wired eyes. The gun isn't really made to support them, but you will have nothing but headaches if you don't just do it.

You are going to have to remove the grip frame and try to wedge them in. Here's the trick: line up the 4 wires side-by-side such that you are only increasing the thickness between the frame and main body by part of the thickness of a single wire. They will have a tendency to bunch up. It will take you a few minutes at least. Keep this in mind and you will see that it IS doable. I have done it and I am not the only one.

thanks for the advice guy. i decided to call dye and just order the stock ribbon eyes.
