mmmm, it has an AT - so prob that. Although with a horizontal feed I dunno, maybe stock.

Any arguments you want to make one way or the other?

I hate this argument. OSC rules for stock class state that a stock class gun must have a non-removable unported barrel, use a horizontal stick feed with no more than 1 ball above the breach at a time, have no AT, run a non-vertical 12 gram changer that is not a lever changer and required more than 4 complete turns to operate, and a slew of other things. There is a very small number of guns which fall into that category, one of them being the PGP.

Stock class guns use 12 grams and have horizontal stick feeds is the definition I like to use.

if used with a hopper, it would be yes.

with a stock class feed, the stock one, it would be stock IMO.
The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

good by me.

shall we say they have to be shooting at a target - not at the ground?

Since speed is the last thing anyone cares about in stock class, I feel it should be something like "best trick shot", or some other way to earn the badge of "Stock Class Bad Ass". Judging might be harder though (not my problem Posted Image)

that's why the current leader has it. it's a slightly different category - it's about being a bad-ass as well as speed. Yes, a new winner will have to be fast - but they'll also have to show why they're a bad ass in the video.

I dont even have to check that one. What operating pressure were you running? If you have a normal length pin and were under 1100 psi I have you beat. The echo is going to make it a bit of a pain to check it though.

I already gold waved it with Squire and I'm pretty sure I have you beat. I'm running under 1100psi due to low air, but there is a tuning trick I used to get the BPS up there. I can do faster, but we need to tinker with the hopper first.

I would be interested to know if the tuning trick is a shorter pin with low velocity. Running the velocity lower will make it more reactive which is why he ran it at 250.Posted Image There is a sweet spot related to input pressure and it looks like you found it.

If there is another tuning trick I would love to know it. You see, I have a thing for the magPosted Image

Also a fourth battery will get you where you want to be with a rotor and it takes E-tape and some wire and a few seconds. I have hit 31 with a rotor and 4 batteries on a RT mag.

PS I will be back tinkering this winter. muahaha

running low velocity had a few response. 1, as you increase input pressure output pressure actually decreases in most regs decreasing velocity and 2, less velocity means less force on the bolt aka less chops. I am also in the state of officially drunk off my ass so if none of this makes sense and spell check didnt save me, sorry.

So it was determined back in the early pages of this thread that an Emag in hybrid mode would qualify for the "Electronic" category. What about an Emag win the battery pin inserted (electronics shut off), set to mech mode only? That would be the "RT Mechanical" category, right? I've got an Emag and I just want to know if I can enter both categories with the same gun. This is an interesting deal that I've been following for awhile, and I think I might want to give it a shot. ;)

yeah, emag could actually compete in three brackets. electronic, RT and mechanical depending on how the gun is set up and what input pressure you're feeding it.

I cant believe no one has taken a shot at the electro. The record is pathetically low, but I see no reason to up it without competition. One day I will do the RT mechanical video but it really is no fair since I tune markers over at Vetters house. hehe. Never forget his videos are some of the fastest around at 34.5 bps rt mag, and 31 bps Excal.

Once I finish my car build and get moved I will get back to paintball.Posted Image

Would a pneumag/cocker be considered cheating? Sorry if it was already mentioned, I didn't feel like reading though all 34 pages.

:P that's very high. The fastest I've seen was an ego8 with the dual QEV's mod, it hit 40bps.

doubt it even cycles that fast - and no, not with paint it doesn't. Feel free to give it a shot, follow the rules and post a video.

good. don't forget screen name, chrono and visible paint stream. Also, the cleaner the sound the easier I can count it. The really fast ones get difficult when the sound is cruddy.

Public Service Announcement....
Don't try speed king when its getting cold out. Even though you are way excited about a 2k psi output custom ninja tank.. nothing good comes of paint chilling in a qloader.. The ball broke before it even got to the marker. Don't worry Shooter311 is going to do this again when we can find a place inside or it warms up. Maine sux sometimes..

Failure is a necessary step to success.

....This has been a public service announcement...
