No seriously.... JD has a lot of knowledge about markers and paintball in general, so I was wondering why those two guns.

We all know when buying a marker it comes down to

1 type (spool, poppit, inline poppit)
2 performance
3 style (agg points)
4 feel
5 price
6 can you get upgrades

So why an ION or ETEK.... there are a ton of guns that will out perform them....

Thought of looking at a rail? Really close to the same price range and in my opinion smoother than both.

I don't like to mess with an LPR... too difficult for the simple minded. One more thing I need to lube every so often too.. I'd much rather just screw the tank on, adjust my velocity on the hpr and go!

PFD247 always hating on PE and pushing dye i have both an ion eos and etek3 i think the kick about the same

Not hating on planet eclipse, remember I had an 09 ego for a couple of months, didn't like the feel, kick, or sound. They are a great marker just not for me... I've owned a few dye markers and they all shot great... But if I were going to push a product it would be Bob Long or CCM....
