Hey everbody, I just finished a box magazine for my A5. It all started with seeing a video for the new Rap4 box mags, and I decided that I had all the parts I needed for my own. Most of the fabrication is done, All I have left is to cut a hole in the top for a feed port. I'm using the fore grip bolt to hold it on. It works perfectly, and keeps up at 12 bps just fine

Anyways, on to the pictures








Now for the internals.

I'm using what amounts to a Halo v35 drive cone with an invert too board inside. The 7.62 ammo box I got from the surplus store is just wide enough for the feed tray to fit nice and snug inside without having to glue it in. I also built a feedtray out of leftover random wood found in my garage.











So far the only holes I've put in it are for the board and rip drive






I used the foregrip screw and nut to hold it all on. That's the foregrip screw with a washer for added support.

Very nice! How many balls does that hold? I believe the RAP4 version holds 200.

Thanks! It'll fit about 400 paintballs total, but anything over 300 paintballs stresses the motor too much. I might put in a little ramp above the drive cone to relieve some pressure on it, but 300 paintballs is heavy enough, I'll probably just leave it at that.

nice job. May i sudjest painting the tube connection the box to the feedneck black, so it dosen't stand out. Other then that its a really nice looking marker.

Pretty much all the fabrication is done, now all I have left to do is make it look pretty. I think I'm just going to paint everything black.

epic looking gun, if i dont get my woodsball guns sold, i was thinking about doing the same thing with m 2 ammo boxes.

Thanks guys. I haven't really been using my older guns, and I was feeling nostalgic. I thought this would be fun to use during scenarios for shits 'n giggles

question, how did you get everying to stay put in there? like the board and battery pack.

I used hot glue. Enough to hold them in place, but not too permanent if I need to remove anything.

pretty nifty idea. would be an excellent way to make a tripod mounted marker looke more realistic.

Wow that's sweet it's an invert too? I didn't read anything besides look at the pictures so if it was posted I'm sorry. I was supprised you should use a warp on it with the box mag not that it would be that much different. Oh and how much paint does it hold?

It's a v35 drive cone with an invert too board for the sound activation. Completely full it'll hold about 450 paintballs, but past 300 the motor has some trouble. I might build a shelf into the tray to take some pressure off the drive cone, but 300 paintballs is heavy enough as it is, so we'll see.

yea that's a good idea so basically it would be making almost like a marble shot? so the paint wouldn't be on the motor at all?

you could also kit a magna upgrade drive I think shop4paintball had them for like 20 if you wanted, just an idea this thing is sweet.

Im hating being that one guy who is bringing up an old thread* but I forgot to ask when I viewed this is if you could make a video of this shooting or at least feeding up the paintballs so i see how it works? Im going to be building one for my 98 which im turning into a M249 Saw.
