i have both and i love them both so imo get the fx just feels more solid and quiter and more effecient but if you like eclpise get the etek but prefer the fx

Ive played with my friends etek and it was amazing. felt good, shot well, and easy to use.

the FX has a fancy board, and looks alright but its just not as comfortable.

Fx is more efficient, cheaper and it has a Better board
The etek has less shot vibration and has 2 regs
Overall I would say fx

I've shot the etek 3 lt, nice gun. Shot the DP FX same day right after. Liked the DP FX a little more. Went FX. To be honest, at this point, get the gun you like the most, they are both good guns backed by good companies (still don't know why people think DP has crappy CS, I never have any problems, however, I never call them anymore cause I don't have any problems with my g3 and doubt I will when my FX gets here). If you can, go ask at your proshop if you can test fire both guns, or find some people that will let you play a round using theirs. No matter how many people respond to this thread, there will be a different answer.

honestly the FX is a hit or miss out of the box, its might have noid/eye cover/rammer/feedneck/fitting problems or it might be one of the few godsend DP markers that is good out of the box. I hate to say it, and I really do! But i would have to go with an ETEK 3 used, or have to find an FX from someone with no out of the box problems to fix. DP is just horrid with quality control. Some examples include the G4, G3, and FX. How do i know the problems guess who's teching one right now!
