So I just hooked up all the lpr hose on the pneus. Aired it up first time, no leaks. Hammer lug was set correctly from the last time I was using it, just had to set up the LPR which was WAYYY too high, and the timing rod. Now it's timed and sweetspotted. Shoots pretty damn great.

I would post pictures of that SFL on Mcarter and see what they think of it.

I don't have an account there, and I don't like the forum there so I avoid it at all costs...

But yeah, it's a very special SFL... I've already had people offer me upwards of 800 for it... I may or may not sell it at the end of this season, right now the SFL is the only electro I have, I am waiting to see what bob puts out for a new marq this coming season...

I have a hard time believing that's the serial number, as BBT/Shocktech used serialized WGP bodies. I've seen the claim countless times over the years "oh, I have #1 this, or #1 that," but 99.9% of the time it was just Mini chopped there or milled through, and the 1 is indicative of a 100,000+ body. Pop your frontblock and I bet there's a portion of another number under there.

That is no the case here, I've never before seen a gen4 or e-series SFL with a serial number. My esfl didn't have a serial number. Only the aftershock team SFL clockers were numbered.

They may well have been entirely milled over on the guns you are referencing. Doesn't change the fact that they used serialized WGP body blanks.

hey look, here are some others:

I know what you are saying, I've owned my fair share of mini cockers with partially there serial numbers, which is why I was skecptical at first, this isn't a partial. And I referenced it to pictures of my old esfl to make sure... And it didn't have a serial number

Maybe you missed the green one at the bottom of the first post in this thread?

http://customcockers...ershock-edition

Looks like he stole your gun and re-anodized it dust green. :dodgy:

EDIT.... i did a little more digging and took a closer look at my SFL body... it does look like a 2 was partially chopped off... kind of a bummer there...

it also looks as if this was teh last body year that the SFL's had the partial serial numbers onthe nose... as the e-series has no serial number up there...

still waiting to hear back from the former owner to see where he got his info... i am certain this is a former team gun, but i am also currious as to why not all Gen4 SFL bodies have the partial serial numbers...

been confirmed... gun was bought off Chris Wright of Aftershock...

hyarr! glad to hear you have it sorted out. i wasn't trying to be a dick (well, not a total dick), but everyone always confuses residual WGP serials for actual serials. i can't speak to why the e-series SFLs don't have serials - presumably that section was milled down more than the front end of yours. offhand, i don't know what one looks like to differentiate from the other generations.

here is a pretty good guide as to the body generations for SFL's.... http://customcockers...-Force-and-more!

normally i dont believe shit when i see someone claim "serial number of 1!" on any gun... but i took the FB off a inspected it... didnt see anything the first time... took it off again and low and behold, barely visable is a very small part of a 2....

but hey... its still a rare fade SFL (most gen4 and e-series came with dust finishes) that was a confirmed team gun... i am happy with that

Just thought I'd share what I did today during class. And yes, I forgot the pump arm.

I'm still waiting for 2 autocockers to show up and I'm getting antsy. I'm also trying to find a jam bolt for my eblade and a ccm cocking rod. Anyone have any experience with duracoat? I'm thinking about doing my ugly ass trilly instead of anno.

The do it yourself duracoat kit would work fine for a cocker... The bake on stuff if better for real firearms... Stick with single or dual colors, anything more then that and it gets expensive
