Happened at my local field. But I notified the ref that there was a player shooting hot and they eventually caught the guy and he got kicked out and banned from the field. I really hate seeing this kind of stuff. Poor kids Posted Image

A bit of a necropost. I still want to know what field this is since I'm located in NJ. I don't want to ruin the day of paint balling because of some douchebags

Well, this week at my field we saw that there were a group of 5 kids that it was their first time. and something stupid that they did was all of them bought rotors, the most expensive tanks, and masks, and they had egos, bob long g6rs, and one had a geo. well it was all their first time at a field, and we said we would play them, well another group of regulars join in and we start playing. after the first maybe 2 minutes, we heard someone either crying or something, so i go over and the bunker across from me i see one of the kids holding his neck and head. so i drop my gun and rush over to check him. when i get there i see one large mark, bleeding on his neck, and his head is bleeding. so i tell him to keep his mask on and i rush over to the ref. games is off, and we go back to the resting area. Someone had their pressure way too high so i see the other guys over at another bench ( the regulars) switching their pressure. so after the crono we go back out. next round all the kids are on the ground whining. game over, almost all the welts and marks were bleeding. so the kids call their parents to pick them up. they all said thier selling their gear and getting out of paintball. I felt terrible even tho it wasnt my fault seeing kids walk out dissapointed. and the regulars start laughing. I know how it feels to be shot with the pressure all the way up, but being over shot like that is terrible. so about 5 kids are out of paintball because of cheaters.

Isn't it just terrible when regulars take advantage of new people like that?
At our field we had a sponsored team that all grouped up against one person, unloaded about 15-20 bloody welts on my friend and then claimed he had his pressure up to high when they barely had a bruise. People that play regularly shouldn't be such assholes, we all have to start at some point but there is no need to be dicks about it.

People just need to realize that by being assholes and turning your guns up specifically to fucking hurt people you lose support for the sport as a whole, and if it continued happening there will be no new players then it all dies. Fucking idiots should just hang themselves.

Old thread, but it is the referee/establishment's fault for not properly enforcing the rules and safety measures like chronographing every gun.

The moment you saw them adjusting the pressure is the moment you should have told everyone to stay off the field, call out the regulars and report them to the field owner.
