we had the same problems, the guys would only play if there were new people and they would chrono their guns and then on the field he would bring tools and crank it up there....we eventually caught on and banned them then one ouf our guys met him at a gas station 2 months later and they almost got into a fight bacuse of it.
Why are we the guns even able to shoot more than 325?
and also one of my friends believer that "speedball" you chrono at 500 , above the legal limit and you need a licence for it

Wow I hate bullshit like this. I do not understand peoples thinking when they blast newer players to death. Playing hot though is inexcusable. I have a few people who somewhat play like this and it pisses me off soo much.

Well what goes around comes around hopefully. Im sure if it happens to them they will bitch about it for months straight. I played against this kid today who does shit like this all the time (member too). It irritates the fuck outta me. I wish somebody would just kick him off the field. Ive never met somebody who liked him yet. Hes one of those people who thinks the gear makes the player.

I did notify the ref and owner the ref said talk to owner, but the owner at the field said he couldnt do anything. because when someone who is sponsered by the field like they were can do anything. i was shot in the back of the head with the velocity turned up and told the owner. but since they were sponsored they didnt do anything. yeah terrible owner. but its the cheapest field around. and sometimes its the co owner who is there and does stuff.

the field is liable for assault charges if they don't follow their own rules

insurance companies state that these are the rules and if they don't follow their rules they won't cover the field... waivers only apply if the rules are followed... waivers don't protect the field if the field doesn't follow the rules

what the fuck?? cant do anything because he sponsors the little pricks??? screw that shit i would never go there again.

also what he is trying to say is that after they chrono there gun to the fields limit thus making the ref think there within field limit.... the pricks went and turned there velocity up more with out the ref knowing.

also when in doubt whip the monsterballs out on them jack asses!

I'm surprised there was no mention as to which field this was, which team was being sponsored, or anything to identify the people responsible for this.

Do us a favor OP and let us know so we don't go to this place.

EDIT::: Okay I am requesting this personally since I see that you're in NJ as well. If my brother or sister got blasted like that I'd be sure as hell to do everything I can to make their days miserable.

If I were the parent of one of the kids that got lit up, my first call would be to the police, and the second would be to my lawyer. Before you tell me I'm overreacting, ask yourself if you want paintball to perceived as a safe sport, or not.

Those guys should be shot in the nuts at the velocity they set in their guns. People like that are the reason why kids are afraid to go paintballing.

parent's should call the police in that case, and you should have the balls to tell them what happened (not saying that you don't)

even if the cops can't do anything, the kids are already dropping out of paintball, so having the law paying the field a serious visit should teach that motherfucker of an owner to never let this shit repeat itself.

stuff like this just pisses me off.

That

They deserve a taste of their own medicine... Just because those kids' parents are rich doesn't mean idiots have to act like idiots. I can relate to this and I get where those idiots are coming from but it's not those kids fault that they come from rich families. Sometimes... People are just plain old fucking stupid.

Hell,
I rather be born rich then poor. Hell... anyone would.

Yeah its those kind of people that mike was talking about in the video paintball is dying. These kind of people ruin the game for incoming players and will eventually dwindal the numbers down to nothing.

Well, this week at my field we saw that there were a group of 5 kids that it was their first time. and something stupid that they did was all of them bought rotors, the most expensive tanks, and masks, and they had egos, bob long g6rs, and one had a geo. well it was all their first time at a field, and we said we would play them, well another group of regulars join in and we start playing. after the first maybe 2 minutes, we heard someone either crying or something, so i go over and the bunker across from me i see one of the kids holding his neck and head. so i drop my gun and rush over to check him. when i get there i see one large mark, bleeding on his neck, and his head is bleeding. so i tell him to keep his mask on and i rush over to the ref. games is off, and we go back to the resting area. Someone had their pressure way too high so i see the other guys over at another bench ( the regulars) switching their pressure. so after the crono we go back out. next round all the kids are on the ground whining. game over, almost all the welts and marks were bleeding. so the kids call their parents to pick them up. they all said thier selling their gear and getting out of paintball. I felt terrible even tho it wasnt my fault seeing kids walk out dissapointed. and the regulars start laughing. I know how it feels to be shot with the pressure all the way up, but being over shot like that is terrible. so about 5 kids are out of paintball because of cheaters.

I'd also press charges in this case. I have the pleasure to work at my local PB field here in Saskatoon, any one the brings there own marker to the field, we always have them crono with a staff member present. We also walk around work a mini crono and check them while playing. I'd fire that ref that was running the field you were playing and pull the sponsership and ban them from the field. IMOP

Personally, if the field owner wouldn't do anything because he was sponsoring those players... I'd tell him I would never give him my business again, and I'd tell him I would make damn sure none of my friends, family, or associates would ever give him their business.
Still trying to find cover...
