thanks guys!

yes, the 1200 fps at moderate resolution will take some setup - but we can do a lot of good work with it. I'm almost more excited about the HD 70 fps - that'll be really cool for trajectory work and things like that.

As to marking balls - we're also getting a lighting package - so we'll do a bunch of tests to find out what works best. yes, two colored balls would be good - but something as simple as a sharpie marked around the ball would help see the rotation.

If you want lighting I have a cheap video light that I used to use with my DVX100B when I shot weddings.

Gordon, I talked to Casio and they were of no help. It's too bad that Kodak doesn't have a similar offering because I have familly members that work at Corporate and also own retail outlets...

Hey guys, I was reading Engadget the other day and saw this and thought of you guys. I'm sure it's not nearly as good, but it says it's capable of 1000fps, and is only 1/3 the price of what your looking at:

http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/06/casios-...t-cam-reviewed/

Thought I'd at least bring it up.

What a bummer I am in Germany - or, you in the US. I am working with a media company, I am sure we could've had work something out.
Well. Will donate some bucks soon. :)

Could I send cash money to a street address? I could send a few bucks, but it would have to be in cash, because I don't have paypal or a checking account.
