It is expensive, but is much better than any of the other fields I have played. The fields are amazing(unlike lone wolf), the refs are high quality and actually know how to ref (unlike futureball), and the big games are the most fun you will ever have playing paintball (besides psp tourneys) but those are two totally different experiences. Love Hells.
In the past couple of years we've seen companies disappear, we've seen teams fall apart, we've seen leagues fail. But we've also seen players humbly return to their "family" teams after enjoying a paid ride of being a hired gun by the highest bidder. We've seen industry gurus come back to the sport after selling off everything they worked so hard to build, only to start over again fresh and new. We've seen this sport suffer along with every other industry due to the current economic conditions, and yet we've seen survival.

I go to chaos mostly instead, and play on their x ball field with the outpost outlaws

Yeah, they have a awesome field there. They also are going to update their field with human sized gravestones near the new wooden chruch.

How does the $40 paint compare to fireballs? Does it fly straight and usually break?

It shoots well, it just doesn't break as much (1 out of 3-4 depending on the weather that day). I've had days where one out of every 2-3 broke even at long distances and another day (a lot more humid) where I was playing speed ball and I shot a guy 5 times and none broke and I was shot 10-12 times with none breaking. It all depends on the weather.

Good refs (very observant and loud), neat air fill station and all of the staff are cool. Big emphasis on safety which is really good. Everyone is friendly and striking up a post game conversation isn't hard at all (and im a shy person). Mostly a woodsball oriented place. They have a good xball field but it doesn't seem like anybody ever shows up for it. A shame since since its only 5 bux for entry for just xball. As of right now the fireball paint is really bouncy and inconsistent. At the end of the day seemed to bore out at about maybe a .684-.685 ( was blowing through my friends .679 freak insert out of the box). Im not at all a fan of the fill color. Its pretty dark and you can barely see it on darker or red clothes. Overall its a good experience but dont turn up expecting to play xball.

Thats great, /\
I have been playing @ Hells for about 10 years now, I go to other fields and travel for tourneys and scenario games. To be honest i just don't have as good of a time.
Anyone that wants to try out this field send me a pm and i'll meet them there or have a team member meet them.
P.s use the fireball and I look at it this way I don't shoot Much when i do i need it to break the first time.
