I read some of the "What really grinds your gears?" thread, and it's filled with a lot of negativity toward new players, marker jealousy, and random hate in various ways. It's way more satisfying to hear about the stuff that makes your day at the field that much more awesome!

-Accidentally shooting a rental player who ran through your line of fire (with a pump, no less! embarrassing!) and having him laugh it off as it's no big deal.
-Running out of paint for the day and sitting on the sidelines to watch, but some guy you've never played with before hands you a pod of paint just so you can keep going (Thanks dude! That kept me going for like four games with my pump )
-Playing pump, getting torn up by people with semi guns all day, then finally gogging one of them with a snapshot
-The epic post-paintball nap
-In-game teamwork with people you don't know, and fistbumping after you win

deciding we're all too broke to buy another case of paint so we rock paper scissor it out to decide who gets to the 3-man finals

Ran out of paint so instead of just walking off the field I set down my gun and helped some first time players that looked to be around 11. They were all sitting way out of range and I got them to bump up pretty far and almost all of them got at least one elimination. Seeing their faces afterwords was awesome.

The camaraderie that is developed after being with 2 other guys left defending a tower for 15 minutes

That moment after taking my first fort in a big game when all the attackers were on the walls and watching the defenders walk back to their spawn in defeat.
We had 30 guys I had never meet before working together as a cohesive unit for a common goal and watching our enemies walk away in defeat along with a few cheers and high fives was priceless!

I'm still one of the noobs. What rocks for me is when people take the time to compliment me and help me out. That's what draws me to the community more than just about anything else.

Honestly the best thing at my field is making new friends. We're all there for the same reason. We all have that one thing in common. So when you show up in the morning and leave at the end of the day with 10 new buddies to ball with, it's pretty awesome.

Having a birthday party group give you 3 free cases because they were out of time for the day, and had extra paint. Paint allowed me to play for an entire month for just the cost of admission

Sense of awesomeness when playing a defend the castle game, 10 owners vs 40 rentals/walk ons, and coming out victorious, then flipping sides and rocking the game in an epic paintball showdown!

i was snapping against someone on armagedon at cpx when i feel a sting at my back, go back behind my bunker use a hand to grab the spot on my back to check for paint and there is a bee in my hand... not cool
