Saw a picture of LIFT's new jersey, look at the sponsor section. Nike PB?

Well there were rumors that went around back in '09 so it could be possible I guess.

I doubt that Nike will pick up a less mainstream sport, but It is interesting.

Found this on google images, but it'd be weird having a pistol with a hopper.

Not sure if that's legal, using the Nike logo, because I'm pretty sure that's not a Nike endorsed photo.

My guess would be photoshop. That outfit would not work well in paintball, too much hard plastic that will cause a paintball to break instead of bounce. I think someone took a picture of an airsoft guy, photoshopped a hopper onto his pistol and photoshopped on the paint splatters and the Nike stuff.

Look at the goggle/mouth shield, that's all airsoft equipment, not paintball. And you wouldn't run a hopper on a pistol, it would cause major balance issues. And do you really see people dressing up like that on the field? The hardcore milsim guys will generally dress up as military members, not police officers.

From what I gather about copyright laws and all that, as long as you're not making money off of it, there isn't much you can do. Like if you printed off a dozen copies of that, and handed them out to people, I don't think Nike can do shit. But if you started selling those copies, then they'd be able to sue you. However, I don't know if that's true or not. Because I figure Nike wouldn't be too happy if you wrote their name on a dildo and handed it out to people.

It seems like it's news to most people commenting on this thread, including myself. I doubt most of the paintball community knows this.

It happens. Shadow Squad is backed by nike.

I doubt that it's actually a nike sponsorship logo. Nike tends to not like people sticking their brand on clothing they don't make.
