1. what do medics do in general
Keep your teammates in the game. Can heal everything except a head shot
2. what are the tank rules
some light reading for ya http://www.techpb.co...howtopic=177070
3. should i bring my x7 phenom or etek 3 or both
Its always good to have a backup Marker in case your primary has a major malfunction
4. whos camping and whos gonna stay in hotels
Its about 50/50 Im planning on camping
5. how long is the opening charge like quarter mile a 5 minute run right??
Im not exactly a young buck anymore so I move kinda slow but if memory serves its about 500 or so yards to the "center" of the field
6. who are squad leader for horde and empire
some more light reading for ya http://www.techpb.co...howtopic=180840
7. should we just bring a couple cases of water for 2 people
If it gets as hot as in years past, the more the better! Its better to have water left over than not enough. 2 cases (24 ct) per person, per day at least
8. food??
If your camping bring your own. Again like with the water, over packing on the food is always recommended. Never know when they guys camping next to you might not have brought enough. While the food is pretty good at the field it will drain the wallet pretty quick.
9. WHOS READY TO KICK SOME ASS!!
ALWAYS!!!!

sorry for stupid questions

Hope this helps!

Medics can "heal" you. A medic can wipe the hit unless it's a headshot.
2. what are the tank rules
Run
3. should i bring my x7 phenom or etek 3 or both
Both. Always nice to have a spare.
4. whos camping and whos gonna stay in hotels
Hotel for this guy. Camping is fun but not when your covered in paint and dirt.
5. how long is the opening charge like quarter mile a 5 minute run right??
About that. It isn't that hard. I'm 230 pounds and I can't run that fast but I still made it fine.
6. who are squad leader for horde and empire
Depends on the squadw
7. should we just bring a couple cases of water for 2 people
I brought two cases of bottled water and put a bottle in my vest's pod sleeve.
8. food??
They were grilling food (burgers, hot dogs, etc) last year and that's what I ended up eating for lunch. Nasty burger but I didn't mind.
9. WHOS READY TO KICK SOME ASS!!
Depends what team you are playing on ;)

sorry for stupid questions

Mike review the sticky threads at the top of the forum. The rules and the squad leaders are there.

What he said!

Also, I think you meant to link to the event rules, not the map for your Holy Grail game. :)

I have a question, so when you get shot, you can just sit in your position and wait for a medic but won't people continue to shoot the shit out of you? Also, if originally it wasn't a head shot and you were hit in the leg and you were waiting for a medic and while your sitting there you get shot in the head, does that count and you have to immediately go back?

Usually if you're in a position where you are going to continually get shot, a medic won't be getting to you. Best recommendation for those situations is to just take the hit and go back and reinsert. If you're hit, sit in your bunker and call for a medic, if the place you are in is being overrun no one is gonna be able to get to you that quickly.

Also, I believe if you're hit and you're calling for a medic, if you're hit additional times while waiting those do not matter.

Wanna guess where this question is answered?

Medic: If you intend to be a medic you must have a pen with you at all times! Medics can heal players who have not been barrel-tagged or blown up. They cannot "heal" head-shots. If you wish to be healed by a medic you must stop as close to where you were hit as possible and shout "Medic!" at which point the referee will give the medic a reasonable amount of time to reach you, wipe off your hit, and record you badge number on his "Medic Supplies Card." You are not to be shot at once you call for a medic, nor can you verbally interact with players. The medic can be eliminated while in the process of completing his tasks. A player calling for a medic is not to be targeted by paintballs. The medic is not to use the player to be healed as a bunker.

Come on people. The easiest way to show up and be a screw up, and to REALLY piss off EVERYONE around you, is to try and play without having read the rules.

Read the rules. Seriously. They aren't that long. You have over six weeks before the game. Read the rules.

Read the rules. Don't be "that guy" who screws it up for your buddies and teammates because you were too lazy to read three pages of rules.
