I lied, my dwell is at 17.

I just re-tuned the LPR. It fully cycles at a little under 1.75 turns out. I have it at about 2.25. If the consistency over the chrono is bad, I'll turn it out to fix it, but I probably won't go any higher than 2.5 turns out. I'm really hoping the consistency stays at 2.25 turns out, this baby was a damn fine shooter on Sunday, and the LPR was just over 2.5 out.

Talked to Ryan from Lurker. I am replacing the three orings with square ones. I will report back next week with results.

Have you noticed any drag or even scratches on your bolt?

Whats up everyone!! Just picked up a dye dm7 pictures coming tommorow, left my gun at my neighbors house and too late to go grab it. It's all stock and all dust blue, i love it, shot it this weekend, shot great and tight ropes. I was wondering what kind of upgrades i could do without breaking the budget and making this gun any better than it already is, also would like to keep the slightly silver and mostly dust blue color scheme going.

I'd keep it how it is, no need to upgrade it if it shoots good. Maybe try putting an eigen ring inside it and see if that improves anything. Otherwise everything stock on a dm7 is fine.

get a km reg column or an exalt reg cover for the reg feel, the eigen ring will improve efficiency drastically and make the marker smoother slightly and reduce barrel rise

You like? Ive done a lot of work on this baby, treat it like my child. It has no scratches, came almost BNIB, upped and never used, with the original box

From the picture you posted I think it's beautiful. You're lucky you were able to get your hands on it in such good condition.

Very nice, you're in.

I found my Orange bolt earlier today when I was cleaning up my room (imagine that). When I first got my Eigenring, I couldn't get the two to work together, likely because of the pressure change caused by the Eigenring in the chamber and the lightweight bolt. The marker would fire a few times and then blow forward, tearing off the forward tail o-ring and just dumping air out the front. I was too stupid to remember the Orange bolt came with its own "traditional" top hat (that I never used), so this was likely an issue that would happen with any top hat.

I lowered the dwell to 12 ms (10 was too low to cycle), set the LPR to just under 2.5 turns out, and lowered the Hyper 3's pressure before airing it up. The thing felt like butter in my hands. However, I sold my chrono a few weeks ago, so I don't know what it was shooting at. Something else I noticed was air was venting out of the back cap with each shot, which has never happened before to this degree with any Matrix I've owned.

I'm going to leave things how they are for the next time I go to a field. If I can get this baby to chrono at about 290 with good consistency and efficiency (note sure how it will be because of the rear venting, not sure why that is happening either), it's staying this way, and I'll probably have the Orange bolt polished since the metal portions aren't really as smooth as the stock bolt's finish anyway. I'm excited to see where it's shooting, but I'm also trying not to get my hopes too high because there's a good chance this isn't going to work out.
