So here I have two Tiberius Arms T8.1s for sale, or maybe trade, if the right offer comes along. Both have a few knicks and scratches here and there. While they don't affect the performance, they're there. I've colored the worst ones with a black sharpie, so they don't shine out like they used, but they're still noticeable if you hold it right up to your face.
One has the newer logo on the grip, one has the older logo on the grip. Like mentioned above, the newer one works great, the older one, not so much. The older one will fire 2-4 balls at a time when you pull the trigger, and the balls will only go a foot or two. After that, nothing. You have to remove the mag, reinsert it, and then it fires the rest of the balls all at once, and they also only go a foot or two. This didn't happen when I got them, but happened soon after, I think it started after I took them apart to clean them, so it's most likely my fault. Another thing with the older one, is that the front sight is gone, it was like this when I got it. I e-mailed Tiberius Arms, and they said it would be $20 to go through the T8.1 and tune it, and that a new front sight might, or might not, be included in that $20 charge, I guess it depends on how nice you ask them. However, there is a bag of spare parts and whatnot included. If you know a lot about Tiberius pistols, I'm pretty sure it's only an o-ring issue, and you'd be able to fix it yourself, but I don't know that for certain. Heck, if you're serious in buying it, and want me to see if I can fix it, then I can sit down and see what I can do, but I won't guarantee that I'll fix it, because I'm not a master tech.
Other than that, they're all set and ready to go. Sure I'd like to keep them, but I think I want to go back to only owning Automags, so off they go.
P.S. Yes I know the pics suck, I had to take them with my cell phone. Once I can find the camera, which will hopefully be tomorrow, I'll try to get better pics of everything.
Update: One T8.1 has been traded off, along with two mags and the hard case. One T8.1 with two mags and a small bag of misc spare parts is left.
Update: Just got back the older T8.1 from Tiberius, they fixed it, it works great now.
