So, I play semi auto with a Etek 3. Pinokio. And an empire 45/45 tank. I carry 3 pods and no nose cone on the pinokio.
P.S. I play rec SpeedBall and a bit of WoodsBall.

if you really want to monitor it set it to capped semi at around 5 balls per second and go out with one less pod every time you get use to carrying that many pods until you only carry a hopper out.

When I was playing Saturday the first game I played I used a hopper plus 2 of the three pods I was wearing. After that I just played hopper ball and I never ran out of paint, even playing speedball.

I think going out with just a hopper is your answer. It will teach you trigger control the hard way.

Yeah... Rec-Ball might as well be restricted hopper-ball. You don't need anymore than that for the couple of snaps you'll do, and then running down the last person who might just surrender anyway

i practise on NPPL Semi auto capped at 12.5
i play front, usually 1 hopper and a pod per game.

1- play semi
2- play front
3- dont carry pods

Uummm, theres really no truth to that if you're talking about speedball. to be competitive beyond rec-ball you have to shoot lanes and shoot bunkers to hold players down, just part of the game.

If you're talking about general rec play...I still don't know why you would say that, it's just an arbitrary imposement.

Mainly to truly save a lot of paint, play pump. If you want to keep the same setup though, I would suggest only shoot when you know you have a shot just don't miss lol. Give no covering fire, don't constantly shoot at their cover, if you think they're too far away to even hit than don't bother shooting, set your bps lower, maybe get closer to them so you can just shoot them once or twice

There's your problem. Use a smaller capacity loader like an eggy or a halo.
