Well it will be slightly lighter... Not that it will make a noticeable difference, but lighter markers generally "kick" more. So it may be worse than the original axe :dodgy:.

It is very sexy though... For $1000 I'll take a much sexier used ripper vic though.

I actually think that it's worth the 1,000 dollars. I think that an axe, with a great OLED board, great low profile feedneck, rare PL milling, and a barrel kit is totally worth it! Think about it this way, the G6r retails for right around there. I find that they shoot similarly to axes, although I've never done a great side to side, just at different times, so I may be wrong. The G6r comes with a lot less than that axe does, yet people still buy G6rs. Personally, if they hadn't already sold out of the pro edition, I'd buy one! As for the regular, I'm not so keen on those

$700 isnt too bad for a custom color and milling on an axe.

ansgear color- 500
nano feedneck- priceless (35)
so milling comes out to around -165 not half bad if you want a cool axe

I like the milling, is it worth the price jump..

To me, no. not even close.
but they changed the style of it a bit and I give them props for that.

A - I love that meh has become an acceptable level of judgment.
B - Thank God, the custom gun is custom again. I've gotten so sick of the whole mentality that if you anno/laser a team's logo on a gun that makes it a custom model. I honesly have no idea what the difference is between a Dynasty Ego and an Ego.

Now I want to see other companies pick this up and do something. Personally, an SFL Axe would be pretty damn cool I think.

Looks neat but let's be honest, this Axe is gonna probably cost some where in the $800-$1000 range which puts it in a whole new category, that unfortunately it just can't compete in.

They need to keep the Axe at what it was designed to be, an amazing mid-end, not a poor high end.

That milling looks kind of ugly to me. The ASA seems overdone too.
