So it turns out that the Tickler doesn't like my HP input, and will "reverse creep" when left sitting to about half the PSI it should be at, so I'm changing my tank reg to low pressure to fix that issue. So now I'm just waiting on new shims to get this up and running.

The LPR settles at about 80psi from 210psi when fully turned in, so it shoots at like 170fps right now. I'm waiting on the LP shims for my tank reg to do a shooting vid.

From what I can tell I believe so. The key factor is screw placement, and it appears that they are in typical direct mount placement, same as the Impulse ASA. The air transfer hole is in a different spot, but that shouldn't matter too much.

Ok, thanks, I couldn't find a impulse Asa for sale but punishers has one off of a luxe, I mainly wanted to see how much this would cost to do. This is really cool, keep up the good work!

You can use a lot of different ASAs for it, you just need to drill a hole for the air transfer, and counterbore the ASA for an o-ring. There are lists of ASAs somewhere on automags.org that say which ASAs are easiest to convert (common in pneumag conversions).

That's initially what I was going to do, but the only extra direct mount ASAs I had sitting around were CP ASAs, and they've all got a groove running along the top where it would sit against the bottom of the frame. I probably could have gotten it to seal, but I didn't want to deal with it at the time since I had the Impulse ASA right there.

wouldnt it be easier with the axe asa since it doubles as a regulator?

A reg in the ASA would be ideal for something like this, however the Empire Relay isn't just a flat topped ASA. For $85 plus however much ANS wants for shipping, I don't feel like trying to retrofit one for this project with no guarantee of success.

Yea the relay would be so nice but you would need to mill out a hole for the relay and find a macroline fitting or some sort of thread converter. But if the output from the reg is suppose to be 200psi or less then the relay would be great.

The reg itself is setup perfectly, just not the attachment method.
