retardedly stupid efficient... i want one, but i really can't justify picking the one up from my shop and then paying another $200 for the new engine... :( geo 3 or luxe sounds a bit better at that price but i probably will just sit on my hands and not do anything.

??

Vanguard Demon is 1050$ + 200$ for the 2013 internals = 1250$

Geo 3 is 1345$
Luxe 2.0 is 1500$

The Vanguard Demon is a lower price then either.
really the only marker i'd justify for competition would be the Luxe 1.5 sale price at 1199$ or the Geo 2.1, hell even the Dye NT 11 + Rotor combo for 999$

honestly the fit and finish of the luxe and geo3 is a bit more appealing and i have a service center right in town, whereas with vanguard i have to ship it off if anything happens i can't fix. and i just haven't gotten the chance to shoot a demon, though i have shot about 3 cases through some geo3's.

pricing is not that far off between the 3 for me.

I just traded my demon. My v2 shot great, I can only imagine how it would be with these improvements. I considered sending it in for the updates, but $200 is just more than I'm willing to spend for an update really. Not saying it wouldn't have been worth it, just saying its a bit much for something that should have been done beforehand.

New ownership within the company, I'm really looking forward to what Vanguard brings to the table these next few years.

I will probably be picking one of these up in the future, and might just see if I can have the internals put in right away when they send it to me and pay the extra money. Anyone know if future models will come with the 2013 engine installed at purchase?

All of the demons being sold from Vanguard are 2013's I believe, so you won't have to pay extra to get them 2013'ed. I must say they are extremely nice shooting markers too, I kinda wish I never traded mine.

All new Demons will be coming with the 2013 internals, they are going for $1250 I do believe. If you do grab one or are getting a 2012 upgraded let Frank know I sent you his way =)

If anyone has any questions on the Demon feel free to PM me or contact me on Facebook (Josh Orange Saumure). I'll also be a certified Demon tech at the end of February as well =)

The operating pressure of 90 psi sounds pretty erotic.

I'd rather have a fugly marker that works amazing, then spending the extra coin for some "milling"
