I just got the new techt bolt for my etha and I had to just fire it a few times, the ting is definitely gone. Now I have been shot and the paint through it yet but to me it sounds a lot louder than with the stock bolt. I was just wondering if anybody else has noticed this yet?

Its louder because you are dry firing, and with the techt bolt being lighter you are probably shooting at a higher velocity then the stock bolt

I agree with CPS, just be careful dry firing you can shred o-rings doing that.

I have put about a 1,000 rounds through the etha and adjust the velocity, It sounds better, but, with some kick to it. Now all I have to do is find the best setting for it.

I'm talking about the dwell setting

What he means is that Planet Eclipse always recommend stock setting on all of their guns for optimum performance. They know their markers very well to recommend it.

With the Etha techt bolt you can lower it to 10 or maybe even 8. Just be sure that your gun is cycling properly and velocity is not effected.
