She will be fine. I am an employee at TXR and I know for a fact that ours refs will make sure she stays safe, and there will be plenty of our TXR Scenario teams that would make sure nothing happens to her. we take care of our players and I hope that you would trust us to keep her safe.

In 2107 hyperjumping was discovered, allowing mankind to colonize space. However, as we are still humans, man still wages war against man, albeit on a much larger scale, and governments and corporations are now one in the same. Our story takes place in the year 2728. Two families, House Kurita and House Davion, battle for control of the Federated Suns, a large and powerful corporation, or “Successor State.” In a Romeo and Juliet story a member of House Davion fell in love with a young man from House Kurita and bore him three children. The Prince Roger Davion, head of House Davion at the time, took action to prevent these children from being successors to lead House Davion, but Takiro Kurita asserted that Vincent Kurita was the rightful heir, which would essentially put House Kurita in control of both the Draconis Combine and the Federated Suns. So a battle ensued across the planets under control of these two Successor States. Infantry fights across many planets while BattleMechs are dedicated to fighting on mining planets for valuable resources to keep the infantry supplied with what they need to win. Additionally, Terran weapon manufacturers are in the wings with advanced BattleMech upgrades. What do they want for these? I guess you will find out when you speak to them. So Prince Joseph Davion of the Federated Suns is forced to defend against the persistent attacks of Takiro Kurita of the Draconis Combine as they fight for control of the largest and most powerful Successor State in the entire Star League. This has serious geekgasm potential. Battletech Pod matches feeding into the scenario- very cool. Can the scenario feed into the battlepod matches (i.e. finds/achievements on the field unlocking mechs are equipment for the mechs)?

TXR is a great field with a great staff working the event. We came from Mississippi to play last year and can't wait to come back this year. I would suggest find people you know from your local field and pair up with them to have some extra eyes around. But between refs and "actors" you should be fine. But 9/10 if she is close to you and you get out, she will probably get out too
