As for the unbalanced teams, last year I thought the teams were unbalanced right up untill the final week before the event. At that point I realized that The Horde was just more forthcoming with their teams. Viper or Sean would probably be able to give the final numbers, but I think the New Empire had a large body count advantage over The Horde. Also keep in mind that The New Empire would have won had it only been a 1 day event. It was the Sunday domination that gave The Horde the win.
Keep in mind that the mods are also adding to the list, and since two of the division leaders for The Horde are mods (active mods at that) their list will probably be a lot more updated than The New Empire's. Now either Mike hasn't seen this thread, is too busy to update it, or is keeping an air of mystery about the structure of The New Empire. Either way it goes, trust me the teams will even out. I don't think Viper/Sean/CPX would let the game be totally lopsided..

philip0871 - That's entirely up to you. If you're ready to commit to one or the other is all your preference, and if you want others to know that's your preference too. If you want others to know, tell me and I'll put you on the list, but keep in mind you don't have to tell anyone if you don't want to.

We were often tasked out though, as we had two launchers on our team and were oft needed to assist in a push (including a mass wave push through the airball fields on Sunday Morning), and to take care of tanks or clear out the city.
You can find whoever your squad leader is (or one of the teams in your squad) and roll with them, or like I said, you can kinda push out on your own and find out where you are needed. The most important aspect though, is be social. An event like this can be pretty intimidating if you are rolling in by yourself, but don't be afraid to ask questions, or show enthusiasm getting involved. One of the guys who rolled iwth my team last year actually asked us about 2 weeks before hand if he could roll with us at the event as he didn't have anyone to join up with. Ended up that he picked up a medic card and was all over the field. Got over 400 revives in that one weekend, earning his spot as the Horde side MVP. Pretty impressive for what he told us, was his first big scenario game.
Just goes to show that being social has its benefits, feel free to ask questions and say hi to people, we are all pretty darn friendly

Except for that Orange guy. I hear he's a douche
The best part, and main reason why, everyone goes to LL is because it is pretty much a big ol' family reunion. You don't know these people personally, but it almost feels as if they were family you haven't seen in years
