This just showed up on my news feed, looks like JT is going to release the impulse under their name

Kee (which owns JT) bought up most of Smart Parts when they liquidated back in 2010. I would say it looks like the 2009 Smart Parts Impulse, but the major difference I see in this picture is a macroline. Discuss!

Doubtful. The Vanquish doesn't have an exposed bolt. (or at least the spoiler/teaser videos did't show one.)

Doubtful though, it looks almost exactly like an 09 Impulse, which I didn't even know existed until last week.

I can't understand why they put macroline on it. The 09 Imp did't have macroline if I remember correctly.

Internal macro markers need LP so you don't blow o-rings inside, no?

Only Bob Longs do that. Hp can run through the 09 Impulse just fine.

JT is releasing pics,not a gun.So it isn't too smart of a move,because then the new gun will get all the publicity,not some new JT gun.But,if this is anything like the SP Impulses,then they will probably have hella good sales

Its probably just a re-branding of the SP Imp, because KEE owns all the patents.

I've been waiting for a low-end electropneumatic marker since I started.

ICD is not currently making markers.

Sorry to ruin your day, but the Impulse line was a stacked tube poppit. (Not stacked tube blowback though)

I meant blowback marker.
I could really care less if it was spool or poppit, as long as it was a cheap alternative to electropneumatic markers.
