Best. News. Ever. With any luck, it will come out right when I actually have my life back this year, lol. Sucks that I wont be able to put a POPS on it, though...

Creed was the first poppet to REALLY show the beauty of smooth milling on a poppet valve, so when we see outlines of a gun, were not seeing the sharper milling patterns that will be on the final gun, and its easier for the human brain to create smooth waves then sharp lines from nothing. Honestly this looks like a very early design sketch, I'd be quite surprised if the finished product looked all that similar to this....

Anyway I am VERY excite, everything macdev does is just amazing work, if I wasn't a spool guy I'd definitely be thinking of picking up one of these bad boys (looking at the clone now) :P

I have to admit that the sharp "tail" with the bolt surprises me. No bolt pin, so we can assume that it at least doesnt have the pin going up. But that sharp back implies that it wont be the same enclosed bolt like the RX.

depending on the features this boasts... its going to be a hard call between the VCOM and this.... i always liked the RX, just never liked how long it felt... this looks, from the shadow outline, to me a bit tighter...

Meh. The Victory is a nice gun, but I would shoot the Borg over it in a second. I am sure the spoolie bolt on the VCOM will be nice, but if I wanted to be shooting a spoolie, the VCOM wouldnt be it. It is nice to have the options for "two guns in one" but I wouldnt pick the Vic as a poppet or a spoolie. Especially not at the new price. You can bet that all the high end spoolies will outperform the VCOM.

I dont think that it resembles the Invasion at all. The frame is a completely different shape.

That's not what a lot of the new engine owners are saying.

To be fair, the general public who shoots Bob Long are some of the most biased people out there.

If the VCOM can shoot smoother and quieter than a Luxe, Vapor, Clone, ZR1, Demon, or DM, I would be absolutely shocked. Bob specializes in poppets, and his poppets arent even the best performers, so I dont expect amazing performance out of the VCOM on the spoolie side. I see it as a novelty item, for someone that doesnt want two guns, but still wants one of each type. For that niche, I am sure it does well.

Now I have to choose, between this, and the Vcom.

But it looks like they fixed the feedneck gap.

Exactly, because buying a victory for $1250 and a spool engine for another $250 you basically have 2 guns.
also if something ever goes wrong with your victory's engine you can just switch it out for the other engine as a backup
