so everyone is talking about the Vanquish, EGO LV1, MacDev GTI, and J4; but what about the RM1? honestly so far that seems to be the most awesome thing I've seen from all these PBE videos. yea it's a rental gun but features like a smooth body for very easy clean, barrel sock is attached to the marker and can be slapped onto the foregrip, and has a toolless disassembly, in case the gun needs to be teched. Honestly for a rental gun this thing amazes me more than any other marker released at PBE with the exception of the splatmaster rifle.

I think that this is probably the best rental marker created!

This would make my life SO much easier as a ref! I hate it when people lose their barrel covers, so that I have to carry their rental with my thumb over the barrel all the way back to front desk. The disassembly would be nice too when people gunk up their guns with paint they picked up off the ground.

I saw this earlier today. I thought it was a pretty cool idea for a marker.

Good idea but the only difference I see between this and the F-12? (tippmann version) is the barrel cover forgrip. So the price better be competitive

Also, why is this the best thing at PBE?

I'm impressed I think this is better than the BT Combat Slice and the FT12! Now we just need to find the price tag...
I have and I always will be a Christian Baller.
My setup: Because I'm a bad*** Tippmann 98 custom with a shake and bake and two 20oz C02 tanks. Be jelly!

the thing I've learned with rental guns and fields

It's not what comes out, its the fact that many of them refuse to replace their entire rental fleet.

Few fields (if any) will replace their rental fleets, I've seen it happen once in 8 years of playing, I've seen guns added, never a complete replacement set. But then again that's not what their going for, they're marketing towards new fields just opening up, along with the very low end players, who'd likely be in the spyder/98/kaos range, where this would actually do quite well, considering most players in that range just want something that'll shoot. Only thing that has me worried is with the incredible amount of wear and tear that rental guns go under, shouldn't that barrel sock come off fairly quickly? Also the absence of steel braid in favor of regular macro line isn't good for rentals. Overall it looks great though, really hope to see renters using these on the field.

Still would be a better idea to replace rental fleets with eNMEys

It would be a good idea, but eNMEys cost more then tippmanns / BTs, and most renters want to play call of duty, and so the milsim look of a 98 / BT is what they want.
Perhaps as sort of a "Premium Rental" option it would be cool. like pay $5 more and use a better gun.

So you are saying that fields won't get the eNMEy at a bulk price either? Think about that

I like the idea of tiered rental systems that way at least you have a chance to shoot something other then a 98 even though I have never rented in my life...
