I have been hearing about this for about a year now, JP @ Critical has mentioned this for a while too

I hope they relaunch, I really like the FEP Quest
"Today, we celebrate the first glorious anniversary of the Information Purification Directives. We have created, for the first time in all history, a garden of pure ideology. Where each worker may bloom, secure from the pests of contradictory and confusing truths. Our Unification of Thoughts is more powerful a weapon than any fleet or army on earth. We are one people, with one will, one resolve, one cause. Our enemies shall talk themselves to death, and we will bury them with their own confusion. WE SHALL PREVAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!" - Macintosh 1984

Quests seem cool. I might pick one up if this does happen.

The bolt assy itself is the main thing being carried over from the classic Quests. However they won't be backwards-compatible due to both functional and cosmetic reasons.

It's just too good of a firing assembly to bother changing :)

Valken is having a preview this weekend of some of their new products at their offices in NJ. If anyone is near by and wants to get an advanced look at our new prototype gun, stop by and take a look :D

every time I see the Quest bolt design I wonder why other companies covet the fact that they have been simplifying their bolt/valve designs. I dont think it gets much simpler than two pieces in a spool. Don't get me wrong, I dig the newer spools, but its always a "Simpson's did it" situation going through my head when I hear about simplifications

That would be awesome. Andy has worked on almost all my guns. He does great work and he has made some homemade guns so I'd curious to see what they come up with.

The only think i'd like to see changed is the ergonomics, and board layout

If it could share commonality with another marker for the basic board shape, that would be handy.
If the LPR could be minimized/out of the way, that would be great
if the body could be more round/streamlined, that would make it more appealing

Heck, you guys could design tool-less bolt removal for shits-n-giggles and it would sell like hot-cakes
