Christianity is not a religion, it is not attending church. It is not something you do. It is a lifestyle, it is a commitment, it is the most incredible thing you could possibly be involved in.

You still want to know how to become a Christian? No problem. There are some things you need to get straight first. First, YOU are a sinner. Sin is all the bad stuff you do. A good break down is anything you think, say, or do, that displeases God. Don't look at your screen like that! I'm telling you the truth. Romans 3:10 says "As it is written there is none righteous, no not one." Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" Now, You probably say "I'm a good person, I've never done anything terrible." well, that's cause you're using your standard. I've got news, God doesn't use your standard. He uses His own. Ever heard of the ten commandments (paraphrased)?

Don't let anything be more important to you than God
Don't have any Idols
Don't misuse God's name
DO Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
DO Honor your parents
Don't Murder (according to Jesus, hatred is the same as murder)
Don't commit adultery (any sexual sin, according to Jesus, lust counts for this as well)
Don't steal (...anything)
Don't lie
Don't covet (want something someone else has so bad that you want something bad to happen to them)

Tough list, huh? Well, that's what God uses. Plus, Jesus said that if you broke one of the commandments, you've broke them all. (lemme let ya in on a secret, Jesus was the only one that ever could keep all of them).

So, you're DOOMED! literally, Romans 6:23 says that the "Wages (payment) of sin is death..." Well, now you're hopeless, but before you lose all hope, finish the verse; "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." See? It's not hopeless. While you deserve Hell, God gave you a gift! ROmans 5:8 says: :But God commendeth (demonstrated, proved) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Jesus came, was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, with the express purpose of dying for our sins.

Why? Well, in the Old Testament, God required the Jews to sacrifice animals for their sins. Unfortunately, "it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins." (Hebrews 10:4). So, Jesus came to be the ultimate sacrifice: Hebrews 9:12, 13 "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle... Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."

So, that's nice, what does it mean to you? I mean that stuff was awfully technical. Thankfully, Salvation is simple. It's like ABC:

Admit to God You're a sinner

Believe God Sent Jesus to take away your sin

Confess your sin to God and ask for His forgiveness.

Why does that work? Check out what Romans 10:9,10, and 13: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I go to church every sunday, Adoration every wednesday, Life Teen/Youth Group on Saturdays and Sundays (After Mass) and I go to a Catholic School.

Im in. Right now I'm working on setting up a fully functional paintball feild at my church camp. We just raised enough money to order all the equipment and 30 markers. Church is my life.
