Rock owns. You can actually "eliminate"(hahaha) someone with a rock, and not always an Ion...

Wow! has peoples experience with ION's been THAT bad?
I have one and the only problems I've had were my fault.
But then again, I don't play speed ball (not bashing, just saying) so my requirements aren't as stringent.

I don't own an Ion and never have, but there are worse guns out there. Other than the fact that you basically get ripped off pricewise because you still have to throw a bunch of upgrades in it, it is still not the worst gun on the market. And if you look around at the field its mostly little kids using them, or at least it is at my field, they don't know any better. So I say play and let play, are they really bothering you that much?

And let he whom has never been hit by an Ion throw the first stone... and if you haven't, you're not playing a lot of recball because there are a ton of them out there.

Images used in signatures are to be less than Width of 600px, and height of 160px. Only ONE image is aloud in the signature, and it must be 30k or less. Only 5 lines of text are aloud. No text larger then size 2 is allowed in the signature.

To all the people who ask me what gun they should get, I always tell them to pick up a used Ion or new Vibe if they are close to your max budget. There really isn't a whole lot in that price range. Seeing that they would have gone to Wal-Mart and paid more for a mech Spyder package at Wal-Mart, I'd say it's not a bad decision. The only upgrades you *NEED* on an Ion would be the feedneck. It's capable of ramping and semi out of the box. What else do you need?
