this summer i got a 98 custom, and set up a woodsball field in my dads woods, but now next summer me and my friends are looking to join a league at my local field that is semi auto only, and i was wondering how a stock 98 custom would hold up. Im looking to buy an SLG but dont have the money.

your 98 custom would probably not hold up at all...definatly invest in the slg, rail or somehting along those lines for tournament play

I don't own one but Ive heard the the back cap of the SLG is plastic and breaks easy so you need to invest in a metal one...
I believe that's all on the upgrade side of things

EDIT: also you need a HPA tank and a motorized hopper if you don't have one...

im decent for being fairly new to the sport, i think speedball or xball would be better for me 2 than woodsball cuz i get really impatient trying to be silent in woodsball

gravity hopper wont feed a slg or any electo gun at that regaurdless of what your playing. you can easily get a empire reloader for about 60 bucks and you'll be set

no one said that, but he's thinking about a league so an electro would be his best bet.

Probly not dude. If you try a normal gravity hopper. You probly wont be able to shoot fast. And if you try you would probly chop alot.

this is just my opinion but i would not say that you are able to shoot extremely fast with a grav fed hopper. I consider extremely fast anything above 15bps and i dont think that is possible with a grav fed hopper.

The feedneck. The standard one that comes on the SLG isn't that great, it's not even a clamping one. Besides that the SLG is a fairly ok starter gun.
