I noticed when I screwed in the tank on my SL-68II that it was a bit uncomfortable because of how close the tank was to the grip

I installed the Trinity "Standard On/Off" inline with the tank, and the difference in comfort was dramatic

hmm good idea. might also be the fact that you are using the myth g2, and those regs are tiny. does it feel better with a different reg?

Woot, shameless Trinity plug. ;) Try it with your Ninja tank and let us know if you still need Trinity's ASA.

Try a different tank, my Ninja 13/3000's gauge is facing to the top left so it doesn't touch my palm, while it looks like yours faces straight up.

*Playing devils advocate here people*

"Which leads me to ask, if he's got a reg that can turn sideways and make it not rub on his palm, why doesn't he just do that and be done with it?"

Well 2 things, One, his hands are very large, He is 6'6'' I believe and has giant bear paws, so the closeness to the handle that makes his hand touch the reg, not the way the gauge is facing.... and Number two, it is very nice to have the fill nipple on bottom for easy access to fill up, and the gauge on top so you know how much air you've got left with out turning your gun.

By the way, mike, nice gun... i love the new ones i can't wait to play with um, the old sl-68 II's rocked and i can't even imagine it now

Probably not the reg causing the problem but the tank on it. Looks a bit large to be on a pump. Then again use what you've got.

With a 13/3000, it's balanced perfectly, like shex in your hand :D
