so i went to the paintball store and talked to them and they recomend the bob long protege. Heres why: i live in bay area so im close to the bob long factory. its made in the USA. the shop is a bob long repair shop. and they can get the parts and gun in about a day. life time warntey.
if you like the etek then try to change my mind if you like the bob long please give me more reasons to buy it. thanks

There's no reason for you to get the etek 3 over the protege in your case. You live near the BL factory and you have a shop that is certified to repair bl markers so warranty issues and repair issues should not be a concern for you. You'll have quick turn around and good feedback. Even IF the etek 3 is considered "better" I'd always go for something local because it'll be a much less painful experience if something goes wrong.

proteges are better

1: bob long guns are made for semi automatic:

the pivot point is behind the trigger so it makes it feel lighter and allows the trigger to be walked easier.

2: consistancy/effitiancy

not once has my gun gone down on me during a game, it never jams, rarely any breaks at all! and you can play an entire game shooting as much paint as you want with even a 45/30 and youll never have to worry about running out of air

3: battery life:

amazing!! this gun can shoot soo many cases with only one nine volt.

4: bob long has the best tech/costumer support! its amazing!

i have shot both guns and i like the feel of the bob long in nmy hands better, you have tons of room to move your fingers inside the trigger guard, and its overal jsut a great gun

and also these guns are soooo easy to fix and maintain, you can take the entire thing apart no problem
