i want a Angel, Ego, Bob long, or maybe a dangerous power... but i have no idea whats the difference between a etek and a ego... is one better then the other?

the ego's have a better noid, and a lcd display on the grip

the better noid's allow it to shoot at higher bps but tourny's are limited to 12.5 bps soo it really doesnt matter imo

Yup, what he said. But for me, the screen is what sells me on the ego vs. etek. The etek is basically a cheaper version of last year's Ego, or the year before, and it doesn't have the screen. Depending on which year, I'd go Ego or Bob Long.

Pretty much what every one else has said. But for me, I have to have a screen because im color blind. Flashing blinking lights piss me off so much. When I had an slg, whenever I would have to program it I would always be walking up to my brother and ask, "what color light is this?". lol

LCD screen, They may be able to shoot at a higher BPS rate (not sure though). I don't know if there is much else.

The EGO's have two main features that separate themselves from ETEK's. EGO's leading up to 2009 had QEV's, allowing them to achieve higher rates of fire. EGO's also had an LCD board, while the ETEK's have an LED board. That is the basic difference from EGO's and ETEK's.
