Yea im kind of surprised because i always thought the first game involved the defending champion kind of as a ritual of how they're "giving up" the world cup after having it for four years, and now they have to fight for it again.

Sign me up please!!!! I have been thinking of doing something like this for a while now, I just never pulled the trigger. I eat, sleep, breath soccer/football/futball, whatever the hell you want to call it!! I have played since I could walk, although I have been out for about a year and a half now. As much time as I spend on TechPB (my post count may not reflect it, but I read more threads than post), I spend even MORE time on soccer related websites.

Injuries along with selling Xabi Alonso and not having a deep bench are why our season hasn't been great..

I stay with them through thick and thin. (Unlike alot of people I know)

True that. They're a really entertaining team to watch whenever i get the chance. It's a shame they didnt go farther last year. I would have much rather see them in the final than man u (which i hate along with its 10 million bandwaggon fans >.<)

Barca is AMAZING to watch. I personally believe they currently play the most beautiful soccer. With Xavi and Iniesta in the midfield it is pure secks . The way they control the ball, hold possession, and do not push up until they see the right opportunity to, is purely amazing.



In the vid it appears Sevilla is not trying to go for the ball, however, it is the touch and accuracy that the Barca players put on the ball that just makes Sevilla look like a high school squad. Pure secks in that video.

Like I said in my first post, I live for soccer, so I will frequent this thread. I just hope you all hang around so I have somebody to talk to !!

Wow that vid is so embarrassing. sevilla is a pretty good team too i think. It's true, they're midfield is amazing and i think xavi is the best midfielder out there at the moment, especially since i think playing mid is one of the most important positions. But what i remember the most from that champions league game was Pujol. Lol idk how i remember but man that motherfucker was everywhere!!!!

Anybody waking up early to watch the Everton v Man U game tomorrow? Seeing as I am Pacific Standard Time, the game starts at 4:45am for me . However, you can bet that I already have my alarm set to get up . I got to see how Landon does against Evra on that right side. Should be a fun game.
