Air and entry is only $15 total, and paint is only $5 more than it is retail. As far as I'm concerned, it isn't overpriced at all.
As you might know, I pretty much only like to shoot high quality paint.

Yes, even for rec play, I usually shoot premium for rec, but if I am out of cash I'll shoot Dxs Triumph.

The only time I prefer to shoot premium is when I can buy it for $60 a case. Preferably cheaper.

I know they have a business to run. Hell, they're doing an awesome job so far. I LOVE their proshop. The players i've played with in the past there though have been a little cocky.

I'm not going to lie, I'm fucking terrible at speedball. I mean, aweful. I'm much better at woodsball where I have a lot more options and have a little more time to think things out as the game goes on. I love the adrenaline rush of speedball, and the way a woodsball game 'flows'.

Back to the kids i've played with, it's not very helpful adding in that i suck too. I don't sit in the back center the whole game. In fact i'm normally playing dorito side. But my problem is whenever i get in a snapshooting skirmish. I ALWAYS lose.

Maybe it's cause i only played 2 times last year bc of an injury. lol

It hurt last time I went to AA. Dropping $75 on a case of paint for rec ball is just too much for me.

Hey Bryce, I was looking through Splat Tag's website and saw that they made the switch to FPO.

Is it financial troubles or did Derrin just feel like making a bit more money?

couple of reasons.

1. people were bringing really shitty paint.
2. he's put a ton of cash into the fields over the last few years and he wants to keep doing it - so yeah, he'll bring in a bit more cash with FPO. I'm fine with it - his prices are rally good and he's getting good paint.

Sounds good, I'd really like to see him continue improving fields. I would be really excited if he threw in an airball field somewhere.

Do you think the numbers will drop off a little bit? I think it was one of the only BYOP fields in the area right?

he owns airball - just not his customer's thing. he used to have it set up down where urban is - but no one ever played there.

He's dropped something like 100 grand into his field over the last couple years - between urban, the tower, the new forts and the work on the road.. oh, and d-day (which is fun as hell). I don't think he'll be hurting for attendance. I don't know anywhere else I would rather be playing in the summer. And his prices are still super reasonable. AND free hotdog and drink on pump days! yeah!

Yeah for sure, I'll definitely be out there for pump days and for a few jungle rumbles. That fort is really fun, I remember playing it on a pump day, when we spent 10 minutes thinking there were still people alive but there weren't .

Huh, yeah I can see how airball wouldn't be as popular when you have tons of other great woods fields.

yeah I remember at the Resident Evil game they had 4 different paint brands. Marbs, DXS silver, I think there was premium, and one other lower grade paint.

This is what i have in my dorm at the moment. The Phantom is here to stay. (the bucket changer is removed for cleaning and installing the UC Kit, Barrel has yet to arrive from Odells.) The PMR might be sold, haven't decided. I'm also planning on getting an Etek 3 this summer.

I really only play at splat tag, so i hope to see you guys out there.
