Here is a mod I did for my SA-8 that could be applied to any T8, T9, T8.1*, T9.1*. The Flipped mag release is a wonderful mod for right handed Tib users as you could release the mag with your index finger rather than twisting your hand to use your thumb.

* The magazines for .1's need to be modified in order to function with this mod. The slot needs to be milled all the way across. I could do it with the CNC I have access to.

I am thinking of making a batch of these and selling them for around 10-11 dollars and was wondering if anyone is interested? I ask because I need to know how many to make.

The Magazine Releases will be done Next week either Monday or Tuesday. They will be able to be shipped out Wednesday.

So is anyone interested?

I'd totally be down for a flipped mag release. The stock one drives me nuts!

Haven't posted here in a while because there doesn't seem to be as much interest here as there is at mcb. I have two made so far and intend on making more tomorrow. Is anyone still interested?

Lets see, the price is 11.35 so shipping to Canada will depend on the location. I'm also not sure as to how to ship it to Canada. I'll be reading about shipping to Canada, and if all else fails, I'll ship it to a friend in the states and he knows how to ship to Canada.

All that is extra for shipping to Canada is you have to fill out a form that gets stuck on the package that explains what is in the package and how much it's worth. It's very straight forward.

Hey, Got around to running the program. I finished one then crashed into the vice this time. <_< I had to re-indicate the vice and redo the work offset and all the tool offsets again. Single Blocked it for a part to see that it wouldn't crash again. Then Op Stoped it for another part to make sure it won't crash again. Then let it rip. Here is the pieces made (they still need to be finished on the back):

Ok, I didn't have the opportunity to run the back of the releases program today. Hopefully tomorrow I can check that program and finish these and start shipping. Sorry for the delays.

I am going to charge an extra $1.5 for Canada. Not much but that is for the usps service (which I don't know very well)

It usually takes about a week to a week and a half in most cases. Either way, I've bought enough things from the the US so I know how long it takes.

THANKS! :)
