I want a new 14 in barrel for my mini. I don't really want to spend over $70 not including tax/shipping. I don't want a kit either. Carbon fiber or metal doesn't matter to me. I just want a new barrel thats more accurate than the stock barrel the mini came with. Thanks in advance for your help.

I was actually just looking at those. any thoughts on which one is the better of the two? also i noticed that the tech pb barrel came in dust black but not polished. i have a polished black mini.. how would a dust black barrel look on it?

I've seen people at my field have black polished guns and dust black barrels, they see its not as easy to scratch the barrel on rocks and branches, so you could say that, but it doesnt look bad either.
Besides its all personal preference :)

Since paint is getting so small, and with price being a major concern for you, I suggest one of Lurker Paintball's Eigenbarrels - .678" bore, 14" length, and only $39 direct from Lurker (when they have them back in stock, that is).
My Feedback

Rule 37 - There is no 'overkill'. There is only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload'.

Don't "FIRST!!!1!!11!!" my posts. Post something pertinent or don't bother posting.

Posted Image for maximum overall performance including accuracy, you want a 14" barrel, slightly overbored for the paint you'll be shooting (a .687 or .689 usually does the trick), with about 9" of unported length. The CP barrels are pretty darn close.

I'm looking at J&J. They use a special anodize that paint beads up on, so the barrel's "self-cleaning"; if you get a chop or barrel-break, just fire another couple shots and the barrel's clean again. They're cheap, too; $30 average depending on length and threads. They do tend to be a bit over-ported, though; the 14" 'cocker barrel is ported nearly half its length. They also only come in dust black. I have one for a Spyder clone (very old, original brownish color) and it's amazing; very accurate, and I've never needed my squeegee on the field. It's just very overbored for modern paint; something like a .691-.693.

No, he needs a 20 inch barrel. One of my idiot freinds had a 28 inch barrel on his tippmann. Talk about long.

Anyway, go get a CP one piece. It'll be worth it.
