About Me
Me
Riverside, California. It's about a half hour from the great SC Village. I don't go as much as I'd like, but that's because $25 for entry is a little steep, even for BYOP.
But when I'm not playing paintball (or not on TechPB) I'm studying. I'm a student at UCR, and I am working on my BA in Creative Writing. So, not trying to brag or anything, but I'm quite the word smith. I'm a pretty good writer over all, but I'm good with fiction. In fact, Finishing my junior year. I expect to graduate on time, or maybe early. That's gonna be in the Spring of 2011. Hah! I'll be a senior in college, and I'll just barely be able to drink.
I love guitar. I'm no pro, but I love just picking up a guitar off my wall, and strumming around. I'm really into old school, classic rock right now. Gimme Beatles, Stones, Van Halen, Floyd, etc any day over what they have these days.
Wakeboarding, and wakesurfing are my Summertime passions. I love going with my family to Lake Havasu, AZ. Check my sig for my youtube channel for my Wakesurfing video. It's pretty sweet.
PB History
First time I played paintball was with some borrowed 98Cs back in 2003 or maybe 2002. Bought my first starter set in 2004-- Trilogy. Still have it today. Maybe I'll convert it to a pump
Then around 2005 I bought a Pilot off my friend. Came with that and an Eggy+Z board, clamping feedneck and an 18'' barrel (crappy!). Bought a 2 piece proto for it. Rocked that for a while until it kinda crapped out for some reason (turned out to be a bad rechargeable, but I didn't find out until a WHILE later). Started using my Trilly again (this time with a 2 piece barrel) until I was somehow persuaded into buying an Ion in the spring of '09. Fortunately I bought it already upgraded (tech t, QEV, trigger, feedneck, BHBoard, virtue eyes) for cheap. That thing has been runnin strong for a while now. Just got me my Rotor for my Bday so now I am set for a good while.
update: Christmas '09 I was fortunate enough to be gifted a sweet Ninja 68/45
another update: Bought a scuba+adapter and it's one of the best investments I've made. Allows me to use my HPA at remote locations. Last time I used it it had ~1400 psi left (approx half) and it had already shot 2 cases. So sweet!
March 30, 2010: I'm a pumper now. Turned my Trilogy into a sweet lil cockerpump.
