I'm considering attempting an anno job on a couple guns i have laying around but i had a couple questions:

I've done a little research and haven't found a good end all beat all guide to it, if there is one please point me in the right direction, otherwise can I get a good step by step and whats needed?

How would a splash anno be done?

How much risk is there to my home? like will my oven explode or catch fire.

Is it worth buying a kit? I saw some on cadwell website but they cost almost 500 dollars, ill send my guns out for that.

Any other main points i should know about?
