  2. Open Play shot with the Emerson HD Action Camcorder & GoPro 3 Black

This video was shot on 11/24/2012 at MN Pro Paintball in Lakeville, MN. The first portion was shot with the Emerson HD Action Camcorder, purchased on Black Friday at Menards for $34.99. Normally, if they have them, it runs $39.99. If you're looking for a cheap alternative to the GoPro, this might do it for you...

So, for the record, this is my first attempt at editing and posting a YouTube video. I'm hoping to do more as I get better at using the cameras (yes, that's plural), as I was impressed enough with the Emerson that I went out and bought a second, and then fell into a SMOKING deal on a GoPro Hero HD on eBay. The goal will be to have two barrel cams as well as a helmet cam running when we go out the next time, which will probably be Dec. 29th's Cold War at MN Pro.

Once Spring comes around, we're planning on getting quite a bit of play/prep in to get ready for Living Legends 6, where we'll be running what we hope will be a 5-person squad with 3 GoPro's and the 2 Emersons... should come up with some wicked video from that! But, to improve, I'd love to hear your thoughts/opinions/suggestions. The video is just under 5 minutes long, and frankly, needs improvement. Any technique suggestions, comments, etc. would be greatly appreciated! This is purely for fun (most of our group is over 40) and we have no delusions of grandeur... but we're having a blast!

Thansk for checking it out, folks!
