But seriously, folks, Living Legends was the most fun I've had all year. It was also the first time I've played paintball since LL3 (that was two years ago, for the more right-brained among us), and I was utterly unprepared for the physical exertion. As such, I spent most of the game at the staging area pouring water on my head. The benefit to my laziness was that I got to hang out with most of the people I came up there to see. Economist, Andrew, Millertime, Linus, CrazyLittle...even Kitty, when she wasn't busy driving the short bus for her e-celebrities. I only wish I would have had more time to hang out with everybody, since the people are really the only reason to go to Living Legends. Maybe next time, Pacos and Cheevo can be a little less anti-social and park their tent closer to everyone else, hmm? Hell, even Willie came by our tent and hung out for a bit. Gotta love Willie.

The game itself...meh. Too much fucking walking. Walk half a mile, get shot by some scrub in a shrub, walk half a mile back. Rinse, repeat. I got burnt out on that pretty quickly. I'm glad the rest of you had the stamina to stick it out a bit longer than I did, though, and that the paint wasn't utter shit this year. That was shocking, to be honest. From what I understand, it's been complete garbage every year up to this one. It certainly was at 3, anyways. Bounces off of hoppers and masks...it was comical. Not this year, though. That shit was was like chucking eggs, man. I think next year, I'll just bring a camera and follow people around. I would probably enjoy that a lot more.

What else, what else... Nerf guns! Fuck darts, get discs. Those discs are the SHIT, man. This one in particular was awesome.

Anyways, I'm definitely going next year. START SAVING NOW! That shit's spendy. Everyone that I met there made it more than worth the price of admission, though.
