So seeing as my anime post got pretty good feedback and that the old club is dead , I'm going to start a new anime/manga club.

Purpose:

To discuss , review and share different animes/mangas.

Let the club begin!

So this weekend I'm trying out for my province's U18 football team after making the first cut. The tryouts last 3 days. Yesterday I did alright . Today's first practice was doing pretty good. During a drill, a couple of people landed on me and I heard my ankle pop. After being walked off I found out that I couldn't continue playing for the rest off the practice. I then discovered that I had a high-ankle sprain and I cannot finish the tryouts. I was told I need crutches and possibly an air-boot. Now in addition to not finishing the camp, I can't do divisionals for Track & Field ,I can't drive, I can't work-out and I can't play paintball.

Shit.

So today I was talking to someone about football players. I said a name that the other person didn't know. I explained who the person was and said he was really famous. The guy I was talking to then said " Well if he's so famous , how come I've never heard of him?" or something along those lines.

It really irks me when people say that and I've heard a few people say it. They seem to think that the world revolves around them and that just because THEY haven't heard about someone/something that the person/thing isn't well-known or famous. By their logic, no-one/nothing in the world is famous because someone has no knowledge of them. Saying it also makes it seem as if the person is talking about trivial things or that the other person is being malicious to them. Overall saying this phrase makes them sound like a close-minded douche.

I know it's just a phrase/joke most of the time but it still makes them sound rude. If you are ever in a situation where someone is telling you something you don't know about just admit you do have knowledge of the subject instead of being an asshole.

This year I got into anime. So far I've watched FMA , Mushi-shi , Desert Punk, Hetalia and Speedgrapher. Right now I'm into Baka and Test S2 , FMA:B , Eden of the East and Full Metal Panic. Does anyone else watch anime?

So I have turned to the PC side . I recently played Crysis 3 on my PS3 on a 1080p Tv and then Farcry 2 on low settings on my laptop and Farcry looked way nicer. It was a life changing experience. I now realize that PC is the master race. Now I want a desktop to play my games. I need some help though, I am getting ~1k to make a computer . I need some help on what to get. I have the resources to build it but I could also make and buy one on Ibuypower. So what do you guys think I should get?
