How about instead of insulting the company that the OP works for, you be happy that someone from a TV station is posting on a paintball forum asking a question and possibly giving paintball more publicity.
I want publicity for paintball in the form of it being a sport, not a glorified joke of catching a few paintballs with your hand. -

Lets be honest here, the Guinness book of world records is full of nonsense records that are not even impressive or interesting(regardless if you can do it or not). -

The jamming is really overhyped. It hardly ever jams even with bad paint. However there is always a chance it will, but even so, a small pull on the shark fin will solve that issue.
So in simple terms in 99.9% of the cases you will play fine with the rotor. Either way, whether or not you buy a spire or a rotor the same is in effect for both. You won;t be disappointed. -
