Just buy a Brand new 68/45. It's the way to go. I hate my 48/3000 tank. Too damn heavy... -

Yeah, that's true. Do you know how people get All-Star at CPX? -

Literally played a tourney where a batch of marbs just fucked up everyone's markers. Thankfully I was smart and went to formula 13, and that stuff just worked and got a barrel maid with the money I saved
CPX only allows Marballizer though, and you can't bring your own paint. Must buy theirs
. Although I have seen YT videos where people are using All-Star?

The Luxe stock barrel is actually a freak barrel, so it will take inserts. The breaking paint is most likely from issues with the paint itself, the whole soft or hard on paint is hardly ever the reason people break paint anyway.
Whether or not it's worth it to have a full kit is up to you. It just depends on what you want. If you just want to go shoot your gun and not worry about anything ever, an overbore is probably best for you, in which case you'd just get a large barrel/insert and stick with that.
Well I assume nobody but rich people buy a Luxe for Recball lol. Although it will be used a lot for Recball. I'll just buy the barrel kit I guess.
