01 April 2013 - 08:43 PMI would definitely say to go with the lube and barrel swab first. You can always wear a beanie or bandanna as a headwrap and just pour the paint out of the bags for now. I just think it would be better to be prepared for when you are on the field and those are also simple cheap solutions to getting a headband for some protection.
03 March 2013 - 04:39 PMI think it would be easier to answer this question based on the tournament rules. I play in tournament series where you can have up to 12 people on the roaster. Of course not every player was at every tournament so yes we were switching players around. Just make sure that you have at least six out of ten guys that will be committed. Also make sure to check the tournament rules because sometimes the 12 man roster allows 10 players and two coaches.
03 March 2013 - 04:35 PMPants are so hard to decide on because it really depends on what you want. There are a lot out there and I like the Sly and Exalt pants because they are vented well and they have good padding in the knees. I also like the zipper part and how well they both stay together. The Exalt pants have strings to tie as well to pull them tight and the Sly have a velcro belt to pull tight. The both also have good protection where you want it most (if you know what I am saying) even though I could care less about that
01 March 2013 - 10:30 PMI love my Sly mask especially with the double strap for ponytails and stuff.
01 March 2013 - 10:28 PMI can't wait to see how the teams play it. No home will make the teams spread the field quickly (which as we know doesn't always happen). And I think that the snake player will be very dependent on their back player looking down the tape to help them move up.
I would like to see how many players also make it out of the penalty box alive with this kind of layout!
Thats a very good point, i didn't even think about penalties, would be a nightmare to try and get out of depending on the other teams positions. What I do see here ,though, is a game of chicken between opposing back players, they both have nice fat lanes on either side of the board, and its a question of which one gets their gun up first. If back players start dropping left and right, it will definitely be an interesting game to watch
I like the idea of chicken... this is a fast paced field. Should be interesting!!
