What are they?

Can I use them in my Invert Mini?

Are they powerful, do they hurt more?

Do you need a certian tank or air?

.50 caliber paintballs are normal paintballs, just smaller that the standard .68 caliber we all use

first strike rounds are a special .68 caliber paintball with a skirt of fins on the backside, to reduce drag and make them more accurate. you can put them down the barrel of any gun, but only Tiberius Arms makes first strike compatible guns

You can use the first strike in your Mini, but only if you unscrew your barrel and put them in, then screw your barrel back on. And unless Invert is making a conversion kit, you can't use .50 cal.

Nothing special is required for either, just smaller parts for the .50 cal

What is the advantage of .50 over .68?

less air usage, hurts less, smaller guns.
disadvantages: debitably less accurate, harder to tell if you got hit, only a few companies out there that make .50 markers, paint is harder to break, you need to freeze them.

.50 is smaller meaning you can hold more in a smaller hopper, they create less drag meaning you don't need as much velocity to propel them as far as .68 and they're harder to see in the air meaning it's hard to tell where your being shot from.

They might create less drag, but their mass is significantly reduced. General consensus is that they will not have the same range as .68

They might create less drag, but their mass is significantly reduced. Rigorous testing, and scientific calculations have shown that they will not have the same range as .68

Fixed.

What are they? first strike rounds are a sniper paintball made of plastic with a skirt that mimics rifleing, 50 cal paintballs are just smaller

Can I use them in my Invert Mini? barrel loding fs yes 50 cal no not yet as not conversion kit is made

Are they powerful, do they hurt more? no they are not more powerfull(first strike) but they go 30 fps faster i belive, 50cal hell no on both heck 50 cal needs a fps limt bumping as they have a lower mass,

Do you need a certian tank or air? nope

first strike rounds cost about 7 gbp per tubes and about 8 usd per tube(8 per tube) and if the mini ever gets a 50 cal conversion(brech insert+ smaller bolt+ new eyes+new barrel) then its same cost as norma paint but 4k(give or take) balls per case as appost to 2k(give or take) for the same price

oh yea answers in pink(the same coulor as i may paint my 8.1 lawl)

err blarg if uv hadnt made his point i would have to pinot out less drap isnt same range due to lower mass so they cant fly as far due to lower momentum emaning a higer velocty would be needed as mass+ velocty= momentum(if im getting this wrong its coz physics isnt my strongest sicence chemestry is)
sorry for duble post btw
