I want to build a cocker pump from scratch.

A couple things though,
I want the body to be as small and light as possible
I want the trigger to be a single
I would prefer to use Cp reg, barrel, asa
I want it to be modern? I want to know the parts are all compatible.

Basically I want something close to those new 6.5 CCM pumps, small and well made. Can anyone recommend who I would buy the top block from and the bottom trigger guard from. Are all cocker parts compatible?

Is there a single website that sells everything cocker-ish?

ok, a user on here gave me sooo much advice about this. here's the pm's: cjjones231 "Hey no problem man. Alright so first you need to pick an autococker body you like. Remember you can not buy a trilogy because it does not use standard autococker parts plus it is not as nice. My favorite body is the 2k5 prostock. If your looking for cheap look on ebay or any paintball forum. Or you can pick a body and parts up from paintball gateway. http://www.paintball.../wgpauboki.html

Remember all your parts must be 2k+ or your parts wont fit.

So heres a list of what I suggest and prices. I am rounding up for you. I highly recomend buying new internals parts I have had bad experience with used internals. People just don't take care of their stuff.

1. 2k4 prostock body $50 http://www.paintball...p04praubok.html

2. Check it lower tube kit $65 http://www.paintball...itaulotuin.html It's cheaper to buy one whole kit instead of buying seperate You need to go high quality on the internals that determines overall smoothness and performance.

3. Bolt you can buy whatever. Delrin has a smoother stroke though. If your looking new $50 http://www.paintball...p2kaudebob.html

4. Trigger Frame: This purely up to what you want. You can buy a cheap double finger hinge or single trigger slider. Shop around and you can find either real cheap. Lets say thats $30 bucks.

5. Reg: You can pick a used one for 12 bucks. I recommend the black magic reg its cheap and very reliable but its heavy cuz its all brass internals you wont find a new one since its out of production. If you want to go new you can't go wrong with a cp or any reg for that matter.

6. Beavertail: With my full body pump I have one because its cheating not to. You thumb the hammer if you don't have one and thats cheating. I know all the cool kids don't have one but most tournaments require it plus i think its wrong not have one. $5

7. Barrel: Pretty self explainatory obviously has to be autococker thread. Get a decent one atleast 14 inch anything smaller and your pump handle will go past it.

8. You will need an autococker valve tool this is a must or you wont be able to put a valve in. $15 http://www.paintball...gpauvareto.html

9. Finally the pump kit you can go cheap and http://www.paintball...hobapukit2.html $35. I know all the kids on this forum will be like it will twist because mike said so. Well there is but you cant notice it and it doesn't affect your performance one bit.

So in total its going to be about $275 but if you go used itl probably be less. If you need help or have any questions let me know"

Me "thank you sooo much for those links! mkay i found some stuff could you tell me if it's compatible?
red body kit + cp reg (i know it's more expensive but there is a free cp reg and i'm willing to pay for the red )
trigger frame with asa
beavertail
pump kit
bolt
lower tube kit
grips
macro-line hose fitting for reg
macro-line hose fitting for asa

that comes out to $355. I already have an extra barrel for my blitz so the only one of ur links i didn't use is the body kit, and for some reason the valve tool link took me to the paintballgateway home page. Again thank you so much for your help with this

oh, and i need to buy macro-line right? sorry i don't know very much about the internals of paintball guns except for tippys and bt's

oh, and what about detents? And yet another question (sorry) is what does a beavertail do? I'm fine with having one, just kinda wanna know"

you should really pm him. He's very very helpful

EDIT: ok it looks like my links didn't work, but for the body plus free cp reg just look at the body kits on paintballgateway.com

Thank you sooooooo much. This really helps clear some questions I've had. That is great that paintballgateway caters towards making your own cocker. I really appreciate your help and I will post picks after I get the gun together. I'm looking forward to getting some custom annodizing!!!!!
